LP educates our youth about the sacrifices made by so many of our Veterans. On November 12, 2018, CLP will collaborate with the Canadian Armed Forces and Hockey Calgary to teach over 1100 youth about leadership, resiliency, citizenship and community service. Over 1100 youth will be divided into groups of 300-400 led by members of the Canadian Armed forces and The Calgary Hitman. For example, youth teams will participate in a CAF obstacle course and exercise, they will also hear from exceptional Canadians including Sheldon Kennedy and keynote speaker Lieutenant Colonel Derek Prohar. LCol Prohar is a Medal of Valour recipient and was Team Captain for the Queen’s Hockey Team. Derek is a humble leader from Saskatchewan and who will resonate with our youth in a very meaningful way.

Several CLP corporate sponsors are volunteering that the vent. Please contact us (403.543.4670) if you would like to learn about volunteer opportunities for the day.
