Veterans Business Boot Camp is a robust entrepreneurial designed to develop the skills and strategies necessary to be a successful entrepreneur.

Next Veterans Business Boot Camp course is now open for registration.

The next offering of this free interactive online course will run from October 3 to November 12, 2022, with course readings, interactive discussions, the development of a business model canvas (1-page business plan) and includes one-on-one coaching.

To graduate and receive the course certificate of completion, you must participate in the course discussions and present your business model canvas to your peers and instructors.

The class is limited to 20 students, so don’t delay. The deadline to register is September 28, 2022.

Learning Program Schedule

Since there are participants from coast to coast, we have designed the learning program with flexibility to align with the wide span of time zones.

The 6-week course is comprised of the following:

  • A web-conference call to meet your classmates and instructors (optional dates and times are available the week before the course begins).
  • Interactive discussion forums (you can post on your schedule during the specified weeks).
  • An individual coaching session with one of the instructors (by web conference). You and the instructors decide on a suitable date and time.
  • A web conference presentation of your business model canvas (optional dates and times are available).

Non-Repayable Investment for Graduates

Annually graduates from the Veteran Boot Camp have the opportunity to apply for a $5,000 or $15,000 non-repayable investment into their business. Graduates submit a video about their business, their intended growth, potential for expansion, and potential to hire Veterans to the Canadian Legacy Project’s board of directors and two successful graduates are awarded these funds.

Graduates will receive an email in November with the application details.


Veterans Business Boot Camp is an interactive distance education program offered to Canadian Military Veterans to develop competencies through the many steps and activities associated with creating and sustaining a business.

Canadian Legacy Project believes entrepreneurship is a meaningful answer to Veteran joblessness and a meaningful future for Canada’s Military Veterans.

Goal: To provide Business Boot Camp training 3 times per year, so spread the word to your Veteran friends. The 2022 course offering dates are October 3/22, February 13/23, and May 15/23.
